An overview of scientific activities in geomagnetism in Croatia

In Croatia, geomagnetic studies started at the beginning of the 19th century. The geomagnetic observatory was established in Pula in 1873, and measurement activities had grown at the beginning of the 20th century. The last measurements of magnetic declination were conducted on Adriatic coast and islands in 1949.
