Longitudinal trends in the spatial distribution of Centropages (Copepoda) species in the Mediterranean Sea
The distribution of Centropages species is associated to the origin of the water masses. So-called Atlantic sepcies are associated basically to the Western Basin, and so-called "well Mediterranean adapted" show a distribution driven by its physiological constraints and, in consequence, they might be influenced by the Mediterranean gradients.
