The article is a comparison of various presentations of Croatian lands on early modern maps of 16th and 17th century. Main purpose is to stress the differences in map production and usage between the three imperial powers and cartographic traditions that rouled Croatia ; the Venetian Republic, the Habsburg Monarchy and the Ottoman Empire and to underline their interest in production of precise topografic maps.
