Numerical Strategy for Ust 13 Sheet Metal DVD Holder Production
Development of the computer simulations in production technology and machinery make sheet metal very inexpensive to forming. Sheet metal forming technologies for production USt 13 sheet metal DVD holder, due to their material savings, and increasingly reduced processing time are taken in the account in these investigations. SolidWorks software was used for modeling of different parts and ToPs software for creating of NC programs for machines. Numerical strain energy approach using Abaqus software in order to evaluate forming processes regarding strain energy was used in these investigations. Also, this strategy was used to assess the dependency of output parameters on the variation in input parameters. In this research the friction coefficient values and the material flow curve has been determined experimentally. As material for complex DVD holder forming the steel USt 13 (Standard DIN 1623) was used.
