Structure, physico-chemical, mechanical, and operational characteristics of condensed composite materials of the Cu-Cr system for electric contacts
The structure, electro-physical, chemical, and mechanical characteristics of composite materials of the Cu-Cr system with the content of the components from 0 to 100 mass% were studied. The composites were obtained by the method of electron-beam evaporation of the initial materials with a subsequent joint condensation on a steel substrate and vacuum annealing at 900°C during 3 hrs. Hardness, characteristics of strength and plasticity of the materials were determined in the temperature range from 20 to 800°C in vacuum not lower than 0.1 Pà .
