Hydraulic Hybrid Technology – State and Challenges

First decade of the 21st century is the period of the battle for market, bad oil production prognosis and alarm ringing for environmental protection. These are facts which stimulated the work on significant improvement of fuel economy of all classes of the vehicles. A truck fuel consumes grows much faster than at passenger cars. Heavier trucks already use very efficient diesel engines but there is some possibility for fuel economy improvement in hybrid technology. Electrical hybrid has no sense for truck on many reasons, but first hydraulic hybrids are showed a good potential. Therefore, a great expand of hydraulic hybrids investigations have begun from last ten years of the 20th century.
