Investigation of Forming Force at Backward Extrusion Process on Different Aluminum Materials
Knowledge of the backward extrusion forces aplying on different Aluminum materials and its alloys is more often dictated by the Al materials properties of the part to be formed than by considerations of processing variables. Because of that, three very often extruded materials will be taken in consideration (as input parameters) in this investigations of extrusion force reducing. Also, lubrication is very important input parameter in backward extrusion process. Aluminum and its alloys can be successfully extruded with such lubricants as Zinc stearate, MoS2 (liqui molly [M. Math, 1999]), paraffinol vaseline, epoxy phenolic, hydrolubric VG68 and cold forming lubricant (grease, wax, tallow, and sodium-tallow soap). Because of that, all listed lubricants will be researched in thes investigation. Also, for fast calculation of forming force the Siebel-Fangmeier’s model will be tested
