The percolation theory as a model for conductivity in QD network
We introduce a simple percolation theory as a model for conductivity in a 3D system of randomly positioned QD’s (Quantum Dot) which are located in the uniformly distributed electric field. The probability of electron jumping from QD to QD is proportional to electric field, and inverse proportional to distance between QD's. Percolation theory shows us that creation of "infinite" percolation claster depends mostly on the electric field and the concentration of QD's in the system. From obtained percolation results the basic model of conductivity has been obtained.
