Monitoring and navigation management in the aquatic waters of the port of Šibenik

Maritime traffic in the aquatic region of the channel sv. Ante and the port of Šibenik is on increase each year. During summer months it reaches its peak loads and the risk of major marine accidents is greatly increased along with its consequences. Navigation in confided waters can be stressful and at time hazardous, but they can be conducted safely, provided the hazadrs and risk have been properly assed and the appropriate contingency plans are in place. Marine accidents threaten not only lives and property, but also the marine environment.
