Nanocrystalline NiMoO4 with Ordered Mesoporous Morphology as Potential Material for Rechargeable Thin Film Lithium Batteries

Nanocrystalline nickel molybdate (NiMoO4) thin film electrodes with an ordered 3D honeycomb network of uniform 17 nm diameter pores were successfully produced through facile polymer templating strategies. These sol-gel 10 type materials exhibit enhanced lithium ion storage capabilities, and thus show promise for battery applications.
