Application of Lean Management in Croatian Enterprises

Lean management is a worldwide trend followed by business systems engaged in production and service activities. It starts with conduction of commercial and manufacturing processes in an innovative and creative way, with the goal of reducing the impact of by products of processes and production itself on the environment throughout the product lifecycle. Lean management means creating greater value for customers by using fewer resources. Case studies of lean management in two Croatian enterprises are presented in this paper.
