Problem of Microbial Growth in Water Hydraulic Systems

Water hydraulic systems use water as a pressure medium to minimize the undesirable environmental impacts of oil-using hydraulics. Microbial growth in the system may restrict the applicability of this technology, because microbial growth resulted in malfunction. Bacteria should be controlled by a better quality pressure medium therefore knowledge of the matter can significantly reduce the impact of the application of any biocide. This article deals with the problem of microbial growth in such hydraulic systems and their ensuing effects.
