This work in progress is a compilation by many authors that is a multi-country analysis of evolving, marketing, development and consumption phenomena in the transitional economies of the Balkans. Each country, including Croatia, is examined individually and in the context of the region. A methodological template for each chapter includes analysis of geography and history, macroeconomics, political environment, culture, marketing institutions, and consumer and societal welfare. Implications for marketers are addressed.
