Economic Policy of the European Union Toward the Countries in Transition - Implication for Croatia
The purpose of this paper is to anallyse the relations between European Union and the countries in transition through the trade links and financial support and show what kind of solution might be chosen in the "pre-accession period" of Croatia to the European Union. Trade cooperation and integration of Central and East European countries in the new Europe represents an important step of these countries to gradually become full members of the EU. The membership of GATT/WTO of this countries should lead to a significant deregulation of trade. In searching for own place in the Europe is Croatia too, with restructuring of the economy and adjustment of economic system to European standards.
