Intermediate width structures in the ^12C(^12C,^8Be_g.s.)^16O excitation functions
The ^12C(^12C,^8Be_g.s.)^16O_gs reaction cross section, leading to the ground state and the two low lying doublets of states in ^16O, has been studied over the CM energy range E=20-30 MeV. The dominant angular momenta for the intermediate width structures in the ^8Be_gs+^16O_gs channel have been deuced by the analysis of the excitation functions at selected CM angles.
