Somatosensory evoked potentials (SEPs) as an important diagnostic tool in experimental and human diabetes
Multimodal evoked potentials are a generally accepted diagnostic method in human and animal neurology. Some results of evoked potentials analysis (including our experimental experiences) would be described in both animals or humans, healthy or diabetics, with or without various therapeutic treatments. Therefore, well-recognised diagnostic technology, such as SEPs, is helpful for interpretation of nonspecific clinical signs, which provides a critical clue to a better neurologic diagnosis.
