Comparison of two extraction prosedures for determination of trace metals in soil by atomic absorption spectrometry
The aim of the investigation was to compare two extraction procedures of forest soils for Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd analysis. Results showed that both procedures only partly extract most of measured trace elements from soil. Regression analysis performed for EDTA extractable vs. HNO3 extractable metals of soil showed high and significant correlations for all metals, except for Fe.
