Intelligent Noise/Nav Monitoring Systems Integration in Air Traffic

Populated airport surroundings are the locations most predisposed to aircraft noise influence. The legislation concerning aircraft community noise puts additional demands on airports in terms of noise monitoring and mitigation, mostly based on ever stronger ecology sense in public. In this article, traditional and contemporary aircraft tracking systems are described, as well as their integration with noise monitoring systems. This concept enables overlapping two various kinds of real-time data: noise contours and navigation parameters, which could be freely accessible over the Internet for various purposes.
