International Actors and the Making of Social Policy in South Eastern Europe: framing new approaches
Text addresses the making of social policy in South East Europe, based on the idea of social policies as fluid, complex, multi-actor assemblages. Case studies on Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Croatia are presented. The text concludes by questioning how far depoliticised technocracy has eroded open debate and what are the prospects for a re-politicisation of social policies in the region.
