Electrochemical properties of manganese porphyrin (MnTe-2-PyP5+) in aqueous media
the presented results indicate that Mn(III)TE-2-PyP5+ as a model SOD mimetic compound has fairly complex redox properties. Principal factor analysis reveals at least three spectrally different species which were attributed to Mn(II)-, Mn(III)- and Mn(IV)-porphyrins. Values of the appropriate calculated formal reduction potentials are: -199 mV and +276 mV, respectively
