Strategic Framework of Air Traffic Development

The paper elaborates the past development of air traffic in Europe from the aspect of its economic benefits and ecological lack of sustainability of conventional technology. The main guidelines of the strategic development are related to the implementation of the global ecological standard and actual reformation processes of the air traffic management systempostulated by ATM 2000+ Strategy and the "Single European Sky" standard. The paper studies the wider aspects of integrated traffic development at the regional level and the factors influencing further development of the European air traffic.
