Energy efficiency increase by using new gas-firing equipment

Fuel savings, environmental impact abatement and money savings are major factors any consumer should consider when installing new equipment. Increase in natural gas price and home budget expenses for space heating and water heating generated a need for replacement of old gas-firing equipment with low energy efficiency with modern technologies. Such replacements demand investments. The present paper gives energy, economic and environmental analysis aimed at justifying installation and utilisation of modern gas systems by their energy efficiency. This is the way towards energy conservation, environmental protection, preservation of comfortable living style, and money saving despite the investment into the new equipment. Energy analysis is based on efficiency of natural gas use in different heating equipment. The energy balance renders a quantitative analysis of flue gases emitted from natural gas consumption processes, while cost-efficiency analysis is based on different prices and annual natural gas consumption.
