Correlation between geodetic and geological Models of tectonic Movements
The role of geodesy in interdisciplinary geodynamic projects that study movements and deformations of the external part of the Earth's surface has been significantly increased after introducing GPS in wider application. The largest significance of geodesy is in the fact that very important information about the activity inside the Earth can be found out on the basis of highly precise measurements on the Earth's surface. In this paper there is the correlation between geodetic and geological model of tectonic movements and seismological activities proved for the area of the Adriatic micro plate and its marginal zones.
