In this book the Ottoman-Ragusan relationship from the different points of views is described. The book give us information on the very beginning of the Ottoman-Ragusan relations, on the Ragusan diplomacy, on the Ottomans in Dubrovnik, the Ragusans in Istanbul, on their cultural interactions, and finally on the Jews as an intriguing bond the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Dubrovnik. Author’s final goal was to give a wide description of the Ottoman-Ragusan coexistence.
