The impact of nonstandard CROPOS network configuration on the accuracy of High Precision Positioning Service
CROPOS (CROatian Positioning Service) is the network of 33 permanent Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference stations over the national territory. The configuration of CROPOS network with stations located at average distance of 70 km is considered to be standard, but when one station or few of them stop working then a nonstandard network configuration occurs. Such a nonstandard configuration happened during spring/summer 2015 (20 April 2015 – 13 August 2015) when, due to the movement from permanent station point SIBE to SIB2, GNSS data were not collected in the area of Šibenik. For the purpose of examination of the nonstandard CROPOS network configuration on results obtained by High Precision Positioning Service (VPPS), the geodetic survey was carried out in the vicinity of Šibenik on 17 May 2015. Further, a more systematical survey was carried out in the area of Zadar, Pakoštane and Šibenik during two days lasting campaign (7 and 8 May 2016). Herein are presented the results of the examination along with their interpretation.
