Influence of mobility management on hotel offer
In order to protect the environment, and at the same time meet the traffic demand, a concept of mobility management was designed, which includes tourism, traffic and spatial planning, so that the existing traffic capacities are used to full extent. The concept is based on ecological modes of traffic and is applied on a local level my means of set of measures - strategies, aimed to solve a selected traffic problem. The success depends on the cooperation of stakeholders, especially hotels in towns, which are often not approachable by car any more. According to the habits of tourists this could cause serious problems to hotel business. Providing traffic alternatives for tourists' arrival to the hotel, can act as attractive element of the offer. An ever-growing experience is based on authenticity and sustainability, along with the conveniences the tourists have become accustomed to. The application of a specific tourism mobility strategy - managing tourism demand can contribute to the competitiveness of the hotel offer. The aim of the research is to define the interdependence between mobility management and hotel offer, by defining the contribution of the selected mobility strategy to the competitiveness of the hotel offer. The secondary re-search will be complemented by primary research.
