Social Construction, Deconstructed Reality and Demography of the Croatian European Integration Process
In the aftermath of the Croatian Homeland War and Peaceful Reintegration Process it is difficult to conceptualize socially constructed forms of reality as integral part of the EU accession process in Croatia. In this paper, the reality of Croatian integration process is deconstructed against the background of socially constructed EU policy and demography in order to develop conceptual tools which enables one to better understand the EU accession framework for Croatia. It is argued that the socially constructed forms of reality and demography developed through various EU policy papers and integration framework for Croatia diverge from the "true" reality of the post-communist transition and accession process.
