Application of fuzzy logic in financial analysis

One of the basic elements of managerial accounting and financial analysis is evaluation of client's financial standing. Evaluation of client's financial standing has a special importance in a risky business surrounding like Croatian, because of the large number of insolvent companies. Trough the lines of this paper the authors will design a financial analysis model for evaluation of client's financial standing using fuzzy logic. The basic advantage of that financial analysis approach is in the fact that using a small number of very flexible rules can very efficiently describe client's evaluation problem. The designed fuzzy model is tested on the authentic client's data of a large Croatian company.
