METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF "TALENT" – TALENT SCOUTING EXPERT SYSTEM

Varieties of methodological approaches, regulations of decision-making as well as the weight factors within the expert system for talent scouting – TALENT, developed at Faculty of Kinesiology and Polytechnics Department of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Split, have been presented in this paper. The first variety was based on the application of an implemented fuzzy logic and expert morphological models, the second one on the utilization of top-athletes' model values and the third one on the selective approach and categorization. The employment of the system, by kinesiology experts in schools, will enable its evaluation, improvement and development, which is a basic precondition for achieving as greater reliability as possible in the future versions of the system.
