New Challenges in Mediterranean Aquaculture

Development potential in Mediterranean Aquaculture are not fully explore and realize, however most of the country are on the way to develop their mariculture potential i.e. The main challenges are introduction of the new species in to marine aquaculture, integration in to CZMP, improvement of environmental performances of marine aquaculture by minimizing impact levels based on scientific principles and standardize monitoring methods and finally adding new values to the products following the international quality standards, respectively.
